501(c)(3) · USFS member club since 1962
Board of directors

The volunteers who run PHFSC.

PHFSC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The board of directors is a group of skating-family volunteers — officers and members-at-large — elected to set club policy, manage finances and represent the club to U.S. Figure Skating. They are unpaid and meet monthly.

What the board does

Sets dues, ice fees, and budget. Manages coaches and ice sessions. Maintains the club's USFS membership in good standing. Decides on policy questions raised by members.

How they're elected

Members in good standing may nominate candidates and vote for officers and at-large seats each year. Terms are staggered so the board doesn't all turn over at once. Nominations open before the annual meeting.

When they meet

Typically the third Tuesday of every month at Glacier Pointe. Meetings are open to members in good standing — bring something you want raised, or just listen. Reach out to a board member ahead of time so they can fit you on the agenda.

Have something for the board?

Anyone in good standing can bring an item to a meeting.

The easiest path: email any board member at least a few days before the next meeting so they can put it on the agenda. Time-sensitive? The club inbox is monitored too.
